Vampire Facial (PRF Microneedling)

What to Expect

PRF is created by drawing a small amount of your blood and spinning it in a special centrifuge at a slower speed than PRP. This allows more white blood cells, stem cells, and fibrin to remain in the final solution – forming a thicker, gel-like serum that slowly releases healing factors over time.

Your provider will cleanse and numb your skin, then use a microneedling device to create microchannels across the face, neck, or chest. The PRF is applied topically and absorbed into the skin to stimulate natural regeneration from within.

Because PRF is more bioactive than PRP and doesn’t include anticoagulants, it continues working for days after treatment, supporting tissue repair and collagen synthesis over time.

Duration

• 75–90 minutes
• 2–6 weeks as collagen rebuilds
• Series of 3–4 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart

Expected Level of Discomfort

Low. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand. Clients describe the sensation as a light prickling or sandpaper-like feeling that’s very tolerable.

Recovery Time

Mild redness and light flaking may occur for 1–3 days. Most people feel comfortable resuming normal activities the next day, though it’s best to avoid direct sun, sweating, and makeup for 24 hours.

Compared to laser or deep peels, downtime is minimal, and side effects are rare.

Expected Results

PRF Microneedling works gradually and delivers longer-lasting, natural-looking results. Expect tighter, smoother skin, a more even tone, and reduced scarring. Under-eye darkness or hollowness often improves due to increased collagen and circulation in the area.

Most clients report visible results after the first treatment, with maximum improvement after a full series. Results can continue improving for several months post-treatment, and maintenance sessions every 4–6 months can help prolong effects.

Aftercare

• Avoid skincare actives, sweating, and sun exposure for 48–72 hours
• Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily
• Keep skin hydrated and avoid exfoliation for one week
• Don’t pick or peel any dry or flaking areas
• Use gentle, soothing skincare and follow any personalized aftercare guidance

Your provider may also recommend red light therapy or a post-treatment recovery serum to further support healing.
