Chin Dimpling Tox
Chin Dimpling Tox
About
Chin dimpling, often referred to as an orange peel chin or pebbled chin, is caused by the overactivity of the mentalis muscle – the muscle at the tip of the chin responsible for lifting and wrinkling the skin in that area. This can create a bumpy or uneven skin texture that becomes more pronounced with expression or over time as the skin loses elasticity.
At Hone MD, we use small doses of neurotoxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, or Jeuveau®) to relax the mentalis muscle, smoothing out chin wrinkles and restoring a softer, more even appearance. It’s a quick, non-surgical treatment with immediate aesthetic impact - and can also be part of a full lower face balancing plan.
