About the brow lift at HoneMD
A brow lift using neurotoxin is a quick, non-surgical way to lift and open the eye area by relaxing the muscles that pull the brows downward. By carefully injecting a small amount of neurotoxin around the outer brow, the opposing forehead-lift muscles gain leverage, gently lifting the brow tail and brightening the eyes.
At HoneMD - serving Torrance and Huntington Beach - the brow lift is the highest-leverage treatment for clients who feel their eyes look tired even when they're not. A 1–2mm lift on the outer brow opens the eye, softens hooding, and pulls the whole upper face into a more rested, more youthful expression. Undetectable by design.
Who this treatment is for
- You feel your brows have dropped or flattened as you've aged
- You see early upper-lid hooding when you look in the mirror
- You want a subtle "fox eye" or refreshed open-eye look without surgery
- You already get forehead or frown line tox and want to add brow shaping
- You want a brow lift effect but aren't ready for surgical blepharoplasty or thread lift
The HoneMD approach
Brow lift with neurotoxin is the most technique-dependent injection on the face. The mechanism is opposite-muscle balance: by relaxing the orbicularis oculi (which pulls the brow tail down) while preserving the lateral frontalis (which lifts the brow), the brow tail lifts. Get the placement wrong and you can drop the medial brow, create a "Spock" peak, or flatten the brow entirely.
Our nurse-practitioner injectors assess brow shape, resting position, frontalis pattern, and orbicularis strength before placing a single unit. Most clients get 2–3 units per side in the lateral orbicularis. Conservative dose, two-week follow-up if more is needed.

- Smooths the lateral crow's feet area at the same time
- Balances facial expression and brow symmetry
- Natural-looking, no downtime
- Pairs with forehead, 11s, and crow's feet for complete upper-face rejuvenation
