Your appointment begins with a thorough cleanse to prep your skin, followed by the application of the chemical peel solution. Most clients experience a brief tingling or stinging sensation during application, which quickly subsides.

The peel is self-neutralizing and remains on the skin after your appointment to continue working throughout the day.

Visible peeling typically starts on day 3 and lasts up to 7 days. This phase reveals fresh, clear skin underneath – with reduced discoloration, softened lines, and a smoother, more refined texture.

A post-peel aftercare kit is included with every treatment to help you maintain hydration and healing throughout the peeling cycle.

The in-office portion of the procedure takes 15–30 minutes. Peeling begins around day 3 and typically resolves by day 7–10. There is no required pre-conditioning period, although proper skin prep enhances results. Most clients return monthly for best long-term improvement.

Discomfort is minimal. You may feel a light tingling or burning sensation during application, but it typically lasts just a few minutes. Post-treatment, skin may feel tight, warm, or dry during the peeling phase but not painful.

Mild redness and flaking may occur for a few days post-treatment. Most clients resume regular activities the same day.

Pre & Post Care

How to Prepare:

• Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 1 week before treatment
• Discontinue retinoids, exfoliants, AHAs/BHAs, and acne medications 10–14 days prior
• Avoid waxing, laser treatments, and energy-based devices for at least 2 weeks before your peel
• Skip at-home scrubs, acids, or active masks for 7 days prior
• Arrive with clean, bare skin (no makeup, SPF, or moisturizer on the face)
  

Aftercare Guidelines:

• Do not pick or peel flaking skin prematurely – let it shed naturally
• Avoid sun exposure for 7–10 days post-treatment
• Use only the products provided in your post-peel kit
• Keep the skin moisturized and hydrated
• Avoid steam rooms, saunas, hot yoga, or sweating for 5–7 days
• No exfoliating or active skincare until peeling is fully complete

Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily. Proper care before and after ensures optimal results and lowers the risk of irritation or complications. Following the protocol can significantly improve outcomes, especially for those treating hyperpigmentation or seeking long-term acne scar treatment results.

You’ll begin to see results by day 7–10, with noticeable improvements in tone, clarity, and radiance. Dark spots, melasma, and acne scars become less visible. Skin appears brighter, more even, and smoother.

While many clients see visible improvements after just one session, a series of three treatments spaced one month apart is typically recommended for optimal results – especially when targeting hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, or more advanced skin concerns.
