Your provider will assess your lip movement and smile dynamics. Using a fine needle, neurotoxin is injected into the muscle responsible for lifting the upper lip too high during smiling. The treatment takes just a few minutes and involves minimal discomfort.

You’ll continue to smile naturally – but with less upward pull, reducing the amount of gum exposure.

Very minimal. The area is small, and most clients feel only a quick pinch. No numbing is needed.

There’s no downtime. Mild redness or swelling may occur at the injection site, but it fades quickly. You can return to normal activities immediately.

After-care

• Avoid rubbing or massaging the area for 4–6 hours
• Stay upright and avoid laying flat for several hours
• No facials or dental work for 7 days
• Avoid excessive lip movement (e.g. drinking from straws) for the rest of the day
