Temple Filler

After a consultation and facial assessment, your provider will determine the best product for your facial anatomy, degree of volume loss, and long-term goals. Both hyaluronic acid fillers and Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) are commonly used in the temple area.

The treatment is performed using a cannula or fine needle to minimize bruising and ensure precise placement. Most clients require treatment on both sides for balance, and results can be dramatic in restoring the appearance of the upper third of the face.

• Injection time: 15-30 minutes

Mild to moderate. Topical numbing and/or lidocaine in the product helps reduce discomfort. Clients may feel pressure or fullness during injection, but pain is minimal.

Mild swelling or tenderness can occur for 1–3 days. Bruising is possible due to the vascular nature of the area, but using a cannula significantly reduces risk. Most clients resume daily activity the same day.

We recommend avoiding alcohol, exercise, and heat for 24 hours post-treatment.

• Avoid strenuous activity, alcohol, and heat for 24–48 hours
• Do not massage or sleep on the treated area the first night
• Use cold compress if needed for swelling
• Follow the 5-5-5 rule (if Sculptra was used): massage 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days

HA fillers provide immediate results, while Sculptra builds volume gradually by stimulating your body’s natural collagen over time. Your provider will help determine which approach (or combination) is right for you.
