Lip Filler

Your treatment begins with a consultation to discuss your desired shape, volume, and goals. After numbing the lips with a topical anesthetic, hyaluronic acid filler is carefully injected using a needle or cannula, depending on the area being treated.

You may feel slight pressure or pinching, but the process is quick and tolerable. After treatment, your lips may appear slightly swollen or uneven, which is completely normal and typically resolves within a few days.

Filler can be placed throughout the lips, in the border, or in select zones for structure, lift, or softness.

• Treatment time: 30–45 minutes
• Results: Immediate, with swelling subsiding in 3–5 days
• Longevity: 6–12 months, depending on filler type and metabolism

Most clients describe a slight pinch or pressure during injection. Numbing cream is used to make the process as comfortable as possible, and any post-treatment tenderness is usually minimal.

Swelling, tenderness, and occasional bruising are common and usually resolve within 3–5 days.

Full results are visible once swelling subsides.

How to Prepare:

• Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil, or other blood-thinning supplements for 3–5 days prior (unless prescribed)
• Do not schedule dental work or vaccines within 2 weeks before or after treatment
• Arrive with clean, makeup-free lips
• Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores – an antiviral may be recommended

Aftercare Guidelines:

• Apply cold compresses (gently) to reduce swelling.
  Avoid touching, massaging, or pressing on the lips.
  Skip workouts, heat exposure, or alcohol for 24 hours.
• Use a hydrating balm and avoid active skincare around the mouth.
• Bruising and swelling are normal and typically subside in a few days.
• Avoid makeup on or around the lips for at least 12 hours.

You’ll walk out with smoother, more defined, and hydrated lips. Whether you’re going for subtle enhancement or a more plush look, lip filler creates volume that still moves naturally when you speak or smile.

Over time, repeated treatments can help improve lip shape, elasticity, and definition, even when not actively filled.

Most clients start with 0.5–1 syringe.

Full correction or fuller looks may require 1–2 syringes over multiple sessions
