About jawline filler at HoneMD
Jawline filler is a non-surgical contouring treatment that uses hyaluronic acid filler to sculpt, define, and sharpen the mandibular line. Placed along the mandibular border and angle, jawline filler builds the structural foundation that creates a clean, snatched transition from jaw to neck - no surgery, no anesthesia, no significant downtime.
At HoneMD - serving Torrance and Huntington Beach - jawline contouring is one of our most transformative filler treatments. Unlike neurotoxin treatments that take days to develop, jawline filler produces immediate, visible results: you see the definition the moment the appointment ends, with final settling over 7–10 days as mild swelling resolves.
We use premium high-G' hyaluronic acid fillers selected specifically for structural support - products formulated to hold shape along the bone and resist migration. Your injector selects the filler based on your anatomy, skin thickness, and the degree of definition you want.
Who this treatment is for
- You want a sharper, more defined jawline without surgery
- You've lost jawline definition from aging, weight changes, or naturally softer bone structure
- You want to reduce the appearance of jowling or a soft jaw-to-neck transition
- You're looking for a sculpted, "snatched" lower-face contour
- You want to balance your profile - a well-defined jaw creates harmony with chin, cheeks, and neck
- You're considering jawline filler as part of a full facial balancing plan
Jawline filler is equally popular with women and men at HoneMD. Women typically want a refined, feminine contour - a clean line from ear to chin. Men often want a wider, more angular jaw that reads as masculine and structured. Both goals are achievable with the same technique, adjusted for anatomy.
The HoneMD approach
Jawline filler is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. The mandible varies dramatically from person to person - in width, angle, projection, and how the soft tissue drapes over the bone. What creates a beautiful jawline on one face can look overfilled or masculine on another.
Our nurse-practitioner injectors begin every jawline consultation with a full lower-face assessment - evaluating your mandibular angle, chin projection, existing volume, skin laxity, and how the jawline interacts with the cheeks and neck. This determines whether jawline filler alone will achieve your goal, or whether combining it with chin filler, cheek filler, or masseter tox will produce a more balanced result.
For patients with heavier lower faces or early jowling, jawline filler restores the clean jaw-to-neck boundary that creates a youthful, lifted look. For patients with naturally weaker bone structure, filler builds the foundation that frames the entire face.
Products we use
Juvederm Volux XC - highest G' in the Juvederm family, FDA-cleared specifically for jawline improvement. Our default for first-time projection rebuilds.
Juvederm Voluma XC - slightly softer than Volux. Used when feathering or softer projection is needed.
Restylane Lyft - the original high-lift HA. Excellent for tissue that holds structure well with less mass.
What to expect
Consultation (15 min): full lower-face assessment in repose and animation. Projection deficit measured. Syringe plan and product selection recommended.
Treatment (30–45 min): topical numbing, then injection along the mandibular border and angle. Filler products contain lidocaine. Most patients describe pressure along the jawbone rather than sharp pain.
Immediately after: visible definition. Mild swelling for 24–72 hours. Cannula technique minimizes bruising.
7–10 days: final integration. Tissue settles and the contour reaches its final shape.
Maintenance: 12–18 months. Top-up syringes refresh without rebuilding from zero.
Pricing
$649 per syringe for new clients. Most patients need 2–4 syringes total (1–2 per side) for visible, natural-looking definition. Patients with stronger existing bone structure may only need 1 syringe per side for refinement. Your injector builds a plan that matches your goal and budget. Know the plan. Know the price.
