Why injector philosophy matters more than product
HA dermal filler is HA dermal filler - the major brands all use crosslinked hyaluronic acid as their base. What separates a good lip from a bad one isn't the syringe label. It's anatomy, technique, and restraint. The HONEMD protocol defaults to under-treating at the first session and refining at a follow-up - a standard set by our medical director, Shawn Abrishamy, MD.

What you might be wondering
I've had filler before that migrated - what now?
We see this regularly from Manhattan Beach patients. The fix is to dissolve the migrated product with hyaluronidase, wait for the tissue to settle, then rebuild from a clean baseline. See our filler correction page .
