Injectables That Don't Announce Themselves — Rolling Hills Estates

In Rolling Hills Estates, discretion isn't a preference — it's the house style. Nobody here wants a face that reads as treated; they want one that reads as rested. That is the brief HoneMD is built to fill: conservative dosing, structure-first planning, and a physician-directed team, all about ten minutes down the hill at our Torrance studio.

03The Fit

Who we see

Most of the faces we see from Rolling Hills Estates and the surrounding Peninsula belong to patients in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who approach this the way they approach everything else — as maintenance, handled properly, on a sensible schedule. They aren't shopping for a different face. They want the one they have kept in good order, with results that pass without comment at the barn on a Saturday morning: you look rested, and that is all anyone can say.

04The Perspective

Structure first, surface second

On a mature face, chasing individual lines one by one tends to produce exactly the look everyone in this community is trying to avoid. Our injector team begins instead with a full-face map — support through the midface, projection at the chin and jawline, how the expression lines behave in motion — and builds a phased plan across wrinkle relaxer, HA dermal filler, and biostimulator treatment. A facial balancing consultation lets you see that plan in writing before committing to any of it.

For patients who prefer change measured in months rather than days, biostimulators are often the better instrument. Instead of adding volume outright, they prompt your own collagen to rebuild structural support over time — so nothing about your appearance shifts overnight. Our biostimulator collagen treatment page covers how it works.

05The Distinction

About 10–15 minutes down the hill

Our studio sits in Torrance, roughly 10–15 minutes from Rolling Hills Estates depending on where on the hill you start. Parking is free on site, and most injectable appointments run 15–30 minutes — short enough that a visit fits inside an ordinary errand window, and plenty of Peninsula patients are back home well within the hour.

06The Context

What we treat

For our Rolling Hills Estates patients, the workhorses are cheek filler to restore midface support, jawline filler and chin filler for the lower face, wrinkle relaxer through the forehead and frown complex, and biostimulator collagen treatment when the goal is gradual structural change. A steady share of our schedule is also corrective — softening or revising earlier filler from other practices that has migrated or aged unevenly.

07The Difference

Why HONEMD, specifically.

01

Two-Week Refinement, Included

Every treatment comes with a review at the two-week mark, and any refinement needed then is done at no charge.

02

Injectables Are the Practice

We are not a forty-service menu. Injectable work is the center of our training, our protocols, and our calendar, supported by a short, deliberate list of skin treatments.

03

Physician-Designed Protocols

Dr. Shawn Abrishamy, MD serves as Medical Director, and every provider trains specifically in facial anatomy and works from protocols designed and reviewed by our Medical Director.

04

Pricing You Can Read in Advance

Our prices live on the website, not in a consultation-room reveal. The number you read before booking is the number you pay.

08Your First Visit

Exactly what to expect.

Four plain steps, start to finish — and nothing happens without your go-ahead.

Step 01

Book Online

Choose a time that suits your week. Same-day and next-day openings come up most weekdays.

Step 02

Complimentary Consult

A one-on-one conversation about your anatomy and goals, with an honest read on what would help — including "nothing yet."

Step 03

Measured Treatment

Most appointments run 15–30 minutes, dosed conservatively, with little to no downtime afterward.

Step 04

Two-Week Follow-Up

We look at the result together at two weeks. If anything warrants a refinement, it's included — never an added fee.

Injectables aren't about chasing a look. They're about preserving the face you already have — measured, conservative, and always reversible if needed.

10Questions, Answered

What you might be wondering

Will anyone be able to tell I've had something done?
Not if we've done our job. Conservative dosing, a structure-first plan, and a two-week review exist precisely so the change reads as "rested," not "treated." Our view is simple: if a face looks done, too much was done.
What does treatment actually cost?
The consultation is complimentary — a $150 value. Wrinkle relaxer starts at $7.99 per unit for new clients, lip refinement is $499, masseter/jawline slimming is $299, Barbie Trap Tox is $799, and brow lift is $120. Every price is published before you book, and your consult quote itemizes anything beyond that.
Who is medically responsible for my treatment?
Dr. Shawn Abrishamy, MD is our Medical Director and designs the protocols every plan follows. Injections are performed by our licensed team — Melissa Marrs-Luna, NP; Megan Olson, NP; and Kristin Wright, RN — under that physician oversight.
How far is the studio from Rolling Hills Estates — and what about parking?
About 10–15 minutes down the hill to our Torrance studio, depending on where you start. Parking is free on site, so door-to-chair is quick even at busy hours.
I'd rather change gradually. Should I look at filler or a biostimulator?
Both restore structure; they differ in tempo. HA filler shows its result at the appointment, while a biostimulator prompts your own collagen over several months — the most gradual arc available, with no single before-and-after moment. Many of our Peninsula patients choose that route, and the consultation is where we sort out which fits your anatomy and timeline.
What happens at a first visit?
You sit down one-on-one with an injector, we map your face and talk through goals, and you leave with a written plan and exact pricing. If you'd like to treat the same day we often can — and if the honest answer is that you don't need anything yet, that's what you'll hear.
How private is a consultation?
Entirely. It's a one-on-one conversation in a private treatment room, nothing proceeds without your say-so, and the conservative style of the work itself is designed to keep your business your own.
How often will I need appointments?
A typical plan starts with 2–3 visits over the first several months, then settles into maintenance — usually one or two visits a year, depending on which treatments you're maintaining.
